Mr. Larimer was born August 5, 1930, in Summit Township, EffinghamCounty, the son of Grover and Lucy (Shadwell) Larimer. He married Violet Elston in 1950. She died in 1980.
He was a retired Laborer and construction worker, a worker for city of Effingham and a is a member of the Effingham Eagles.
Surviving are his sons, Lloyd W. Jr., of Effingham; daughters Lucy Larimer of Effingham, Mrs. Ralph (Lisa) Spring of Altamont; brother, William of Effingham; sister, Mrs. Max (Ellnora) VanSant of Sigel; and six grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two brothers.
