She married Peter Demetros in Escanaba, MI January 31, 1948. He passed away April 10, 1996. She was a Veteran of WW II serving in the U.S. Navy. She is survived by sons William of Lombard, George (Millie) of Cary, N.C., daughter Evelyn (DeWayne) Wheelhouse of Highmore, SD; four grandchildren and sisters Ethel Papai of Dellroy, OH., Edna Cousineau of Orlando FL. Services 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, November 14, 2000 in Durand United Methodist Church with Dr. John Alan Boryk, officiating. Burial in Durand Cemetery.
