CHRISTIAN B. HANSEN BURIED SEPT. 9th

Mr. Christian B. Hansen, well known farmer of Orum, died suddenly, September 6th of a heart attack at his house at the age of 75.

Mr. Hansen was born February 9, 1888, at Kennard, Nebraska. In 1912 he was married to Sena Rasmussen. They farmed near Kennard until 1917 when they moved to the present farm near Orum.

He is survived by his wife, Sena, daughters Irene of Orum and Mrs. William Powers (Laura) at Omaha; sons, Leslie of Oakland, and Herbert, of Orum; grandchildren, Paul, Steven, Pamela and Joan of Orum; Ronald and Allen of Oakland, California; sisters, Mrs. Francis Dolan (Dorothea) of Fremont, Mrs. Abigail Beernstrup, of Blair, and Mrs. George Lischer (Bertha), of Los Angeles, California and a brother, Albert, of Fremont. He is predeceased by son, Donald, and sisters, Mrs. Peter Smith (Mary) of Michigan, and Mrs. Hans Nielsen (Anna), of Blair.

He was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church of Orum where funeral services were held Monday afternoon, September 9, with the Reverend Harold Laursen officiating.

Mrs. Jack Jensen was the organist and Mrs. Don Rasmussen, the soloist.

Pallbearers were Edward Newkirk, William Bisbee, Velmar Katt, Lawrence Gnuse, Albert Bensen and Alvin Katt.

Interment was in the Blair Cemetery.
