Mrs. Hannah M. Hanks, 81, 154 North Broadway, a native of Illinois and a Fresno resident for 22 years, died in a local hospital today after an illness.
She is survived by four sons, John Hanks of Crawford, Nebraska; Rollie P. Hanks and Chris C. Hanks, Fresno, and Dell D. Hanks of Long Beach; two daughters, Mrs. Olga Spittler of Missouri and Mrs. Hazel Clark of Fresno; a brother, Edward Attwood of Iowa, and a sister, Estella LaMassney of Modern.
Funeral services were scheduled for 2:30 p.m. Monday in the Lisle Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow in the Mountain View Cemetery.
Hannah M. Atwood Hanks was born July 1861 in Knox County, Illinois. She married Edmund Pemberton Hanks in 1882 in Page County, Iowa. She died May 22, 1943 in Fresno, California. Children, John, Olga Ione, Elwood, Cora, Rolla, Delbert, Christopher, and Hazel
