OLGA IONE SPITTLER
Olga Ione Spittler, daughter of E. P. and Hanna Hanks, was born November 30, 1883 in Page county, Iowa and passed away at the home in Buffalo, Missouri, September 18, 1954, at the age f 70 yers, 9 months, and 18 days.
She was united in marriage to Charle Spittler in November 1900 and to this union five children were born. Lois and Lewis preceded her in death. She is survived by her husband of the home, three sons, Lester Spittler of Plad, Missouri; Ernest Spittler and Chester Spittler of Hanford, California; four brothers, John Hanks of Crawford, Nebraska; Rolla and Chris Hanks of Fresno, California; Dell Hanks of Long Beach, California; one sister, Hazel Bowers of Fresno, California; 6 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, also many other relatives and friends.
She professed hope in Christ and joined the church early in life. She will be sadly missed by her family and many friends.
Funeral services were held at Plat Union Church, Tuesday, September 21, 1954, at 2:00 p.m. withLean House and Virginia Stockley officiating. Interment follows in Plad Cemetery under direction of Montgomery Funeral Home, of Buffalo.

Atwood, married to Charles Spittler (on October 27, 1901 in Fremont County, Iowa, died September 19, 1954 in Buffalo, Dallas County, Missouri of Pulmonary embolis, due to cerebral hemorrhage. Burial in Plad Cemetery, Plad, Missouri on September 21, 1954, informant, Charles Spittler. Seven known children were born to them, Lester Raymond, Ernest, Chester, Louis, Lois, Richard Norman, and Janice Marie.
