Funeral services were held at Dallas Monday for Mrs. Sara Hennessee. 82, of 919 S. Eighth, who died Saturday at Dallas after suffering a heart attack while visiting a daughter there. Burial was in Mills cemetery near Garland. Tex. Mrs. Hennessee was born Dec. 7. 1875 in Dallas county and was married to Ed Hennessee at Dallas in 1890. They came to Comanche county in 1907 and farmed near Lawton for many years. Hennessee died in 1911. She was a member of the Revival Center church at 1303 Summit.
Survivors include 10 children, Mrs. Ernest Kitsmiller. 2610 H; Joe Hennessee, 3601 Park: John Hennessee. 319 S. Eighth: Paul Hennessee, 1003 K. 16th: Mrs. E. D. Clifton, Mercedes. Calif.: Thurman Hennessee, Oakland. Calif.; Lawrence Hennessee, Washington State; Mrs. Ed Hogan. Farmers Branch, Tex.: Mrs. Lee Hogan, Dallas: and Mrs. Iva Shepard, Garland: 17 grandchildren; 70 great grandchildren: 26 great- great-grandchildren: a brother, George Keller of Texas; and three sisters. Mrs. Charley Collins of California. Mrs. Frank Helton, Dallas, and Mrs. Margaret Jones, Bokchito, Okla.
Bearers, all grandsons of Mrs. Hennessce. were Fitzhugh Hogan, Hollis Hogan. Fred Hogan, John Hogan. Melvin Hennessee and Billy Joe Busby.
