Services Are on Friday for Agnes Nielsen
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, June 25, at First Lutheran Church for Agnes Nielsen, 92, who died at Memorial Community Hospital in Blair on June 22, 1982.
Agnes Nielsen was born July 6, 1890, in Blair to Thomas and Louisa Sherrebeck Andersen. She attended McCarthy School near Blair. On January 22, 1913 she married James W. Nielsen.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1946 and three brothers.
She is survived by one son, Lloyd Nielsen; a daughter-in-law, Elsie Nielsen; and three daughters, Mrs. Marlin (Erma) Taylor, Blair; Mrs. Roma Randall, Omaha, Mrs. Frank (Darlene) Gleeson, West Des Moines, Iowa; 12 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be David Nielsen, Ron Nielsen, don Nielsen, Lyle Joslin, Merle Brower, Jim Taylor, William Randall, Dan Gleeson and Tom Gleeson.
Campbell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements for the services.
