Family: three sons, Robert and wife Sue of Chinquapin, NC, Carl Jay, Jr. and wife Darlene of Oak Ridge, NC, and John and wife Connie of Carrollton, VA; and two daughters and their husbands, Rebecca and Rev. Ralph Crabill of Linden, VA, and Lena & William Grant; a sister, Mary Alice Moran of Greensboro NC; 11 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service and interment will be held at at Deep River Friends Meeting, High Point, NC.
