Funeral services were held Friday, May 5, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Fort Calhoun.
Burial was in huffton Cemetery, huffton, SD. Sievers-Ssprick Funeral Home, Ft. Calhoun, was in charge of arrangements.
Constance Cain was born May 24, 1931 in Huffton, SD, to John and Cora (Holtslander) Cain.
On June 1949, she married Loren Hemen in Groton. They lived in Britton, Columbia and Sand Lake Game Refuge as well as in jamestown, ND, and later in Cleburne, TX, and most recently in Fort Calhoun.
Survivors include a son, Mike (Lynne), Fort Calhoun; daughters, Laura (Brian) Malard, Cleburne, TX, Jean (Mark) Lien, Arlington, TX, Lynn (Kevin) Tabor, Fargo, and Jane (Dale) Martenson, Cleburne, TX, ten grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; sisters, Inez Gulsvig and Peggy Pierson, Britton, Betty Beck, Claremont, and Marge Donovan, El Cajon, CA
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and a son.
