JOHN S. PARKER

Funeral services for John Spencer Parker, 70, of St. Petersburg, Fla., will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Gray Brown Service Chapel. Burial will be in Crestwood Cemetery in Gadsden.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Mary Ethel Parker; two sons, John E Parker of St. Petersburg and Robert Parker of Miami, Fla., seven sisters, Mrs. Ethel Grogan of Coldwater, Mrs. Elizabeth Shipman of Jacksonville, Mrs. Annie Mae Elwell and Mrs. Margaret Cole, both of Weaver, Mrs. Gertrude Pensyl of Brown Mills, N.J., Mrs. Christine Hayes of Jacksonville, N.C., and Mrs. Buena Haile of Hendersonville, N.C.; and three brothers, Gerald H Parker of Weaver, Lt. Col. Brandon L Parker of Ft. Benning, Ga., and Warren E Parker of Vietnam. Pallbearers will be Jack Cole, Brock Parker, Bryan Cole, Arthur Elwell, Clinton Shipman and Howard Grogan.

Mr. Parker was a native of Calhoun County and had been residing in St. Petersburg for 50 years.
