Tillman N. Naillon left this life at age 52, in a drowning accident. An excerpt from a newspaper article gives details:
"...In the other incident, a Durham man drowned in Kerr Lake Saturday after he fell out of a boat, authorities said.
He was identified as Tillman N. Naillon, 52. The Vance County Rescue Squad recovered his body Saturday afternoon.
A Sheriff's Department spokesman said Naillon, his son and a third man were setting trotlines off Henderson Point when Naillon fell overboard. Attempts to save him failed, the others told deputies."
