Verona C. Altobelli, 84, of Virginia died Monday, June 17, 2002, at the Virginia Convalescent Center.
She was born on June 28, 1917 to Thomas and Silva (Gregorich) Gasparich in Virginia, where she grew up and attended school. She married Nick Altobelli in Virginia, where they made their home. She had worked for the Roberts and Stevensons stores in Virginia and was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
Survivors include one daughter, Sharon (Dennis) Boutto,; three grandchildren, Brad Boutto, Scott Boutto and Dena Boutto and fiance Bryan Linanen; three great-grandchildren, Jerrid, Jenna and Rachael Boutto; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Nick; a sister, Ann; a brother, Tony; and her parents.
Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in Virginia.
