Miss Hammond Dead
Miss Loretta Belle Hammond, St. Joseph, Mo., a native of Emporia, died Thursday afternoon in St. Joseph.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Roberts-Blue-Barnett Chapel, conducted by the Rev. W. Howard Holverson, pastor of the First Christian Church. Burial will be in Maplewood Cemetery.
Loretta Bella Hammond, the daughter of William and Margaret Faucett Hammond, was born Aug. 18th, 1875, in Emporia. She was a member of the Christian Church. She is survived by two brothers, Perly Hammond, Elwood, and W.A. Hammond, Arvada, Colo.; two sisters, Mrs. W.M. Buck, 310 Carter St., and Mrs. L.B. Roberts, Redwood City, Calif., and several nieces and nephews.
