Johnnie Mae Orth, 82, of Parrish, FL, died July 12, 2009. Mrs. Orth was born November 11, 1926, in Soperton, GA, and came here from there in 1951. She worked as a nursing assistant, and was a homemaker. She was a member of the Samoset Baptist Church. Mrs. Orth is survived by her son, Glenn (Alice) Davis of Bradenton, two grandsons, Craig and Russell Davis of Parrish and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Thursday, July 16, from 10:00-11:00AM at Shannon Funeral Home, Town Chapel, 1015 14th St. W. Services will follow at 11:00AM at the funeral home and will be officiated by Rev.
