She was born in Treutlen County to John and Essie Simpson Brantley. She lived most of her life in Mt. Vernon and was a member of the Rosemont Primitive Baptist Church. She enjoyed her employment for several years in the cafeterias of both the public schools and Brewton-Parker College. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Visitation will be held 6-8 p.m., Monday at the funeral home.
Funeral service will be held 2 p.m., Tuesday, April 19, 2005 in the Chapel of Murchison Funeral Home with Reverend Herschel Clements and Reverend W.R. Connell officiating.
Interment: Braddy Cemetery in Kibbee.
