German Wing, Westlake Resident, 82, Passes Away; Rites Sunday Afternoon
German Wing, 82, life-long resident of Calcasieu and Cameron parishes, died at his home in Westlake at 8:10 this morning. Funeral services will be held at 1 o'clock Sunday afternoon from the residence, with the Rev. A. S. Newman officiating and burial in Bagdad cemetery, McMillan and Dugas in charge.
Pallbearers will be German Wing Jr., Edward Wing, Jesse Wing, Dalton Wing, Clyde Wing and Woodrow Wing.
Surviving are the wife, three sons, J.J. and Silvanus, both of Westlake, and Larking of Port Arthur, Texas, a daughter, Mrs. Murphy Benoit of Vinton, a brother A. Wing, of Sulphur, 19 grandchildren, and 30 great grandchildren. (Obit was very hard to read)
