FUNERAL SERVICES FOR MRS. MURPHY BENOIT ARE TODAY. Vinton, La. Mrs. Lucy Wing Benoit died at her home Sunday morning after a long illness. Mrs. Benoit was born at Choupique Feb. 18, 1885. She was married to Murphy Benoit in Dec. 1901 and was a member of the Vinton Methodist church. Interment will be at Nibblets Bluff cemetery Monday afternoon at 2:30. Rev. Frank A. Mathews will conduct the services and funeral arrangements are in charge of Burke Funeral home. Survivors besides the husband are two sons, R.J. [Robert Julian] and M.D. [Murphy Donald] Benoit, both of Vinton; three brothers, Sylvan, Johnson and Larken Wing of Westlake; her mother Mrs. German Wing of Westlake; four grandchildren.
