Raymond P. Gilmore, 71, of New Bloomfield, died Thursday, March 23, 1995, at the Callaway Community Hospital in Fulton. He was born March 22, 1924, in Boone County, a son of the late Alfred L. and Ethel L. (Thompson[sic Thomason]) Gilmore. He married Aline Elizabeth Forbis on March 6, 1943 and she survives.

Other survivors include one son, Eddie Ray Gilmore of New Bloomfield, one daughter, Doris Fay Frasher of Holts Summit, four grandchildren, Teresa Lynn Whittenberg of Holts Summit, Angela Dawn Sears of Jefferson City, Alicia Ann Holland of New Bloomfield and Robbie Frasher Jr. of Holts Summit, sixteen great-grandchildren, two sisters, Dorothy Maxwell of Fulton and Margaret Jordon of Jefferson City and one brother, Forrest Gilmore of Fulton.

Mr. Gilmore was preceded in death by his parents and four brothers.

Mr. Gilmore worked as a mechanic for Gilmore Motor Company in Fulton for 35 years.

Funeral services will be at 2:00pm Saturday, March 25, 1995, at the Dry Fork Baptist Church in Guthrie with the Reverend Jerry Anderson officiating. Visitation will be 1:00pm to service time at the church. Interment will be at Dry Fork Church Cemetery.
