Betty (Luellen) Cobb, age 67 of Broken Arrow, formerly of Wagoner, passed this life on Wednesday, February 4, 2009 at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa. Betty was born April 7, 1941 in Wagoner, Oklahoma to Floyd and Elizabeth Luellen. After graduation from Wagoner High School Betty enrolled in the Cosmetology School at Muskogee. Betty later owned and operated her beauty salon in Glasgow, Missouri, with this experience she became a representative for Redken Hair Products. Betty married Donald Ray Cobb on December 28, 1985 in Broken Arrow, OK. She was a member of the St. Anne's Catholic Church in Broken Arrow. Betty received her Associate Degree in Art at TCC in Tulsa. She was a gifted lady, and used her art talent in many forms of her life. She was preceded in death by her mother and father; Elizabeth and Floyd Luellen and one son Charles David Vance. Betty is survived by her husband Donald Cobb of Broken Arrow, daughter Amy Kirchdoerfer and her husband Edward of Cape Girardeau, Missouri. Four step children; Matt Cobb and wife Jennifer of Bristol, VA, Ray Cobb and wife Tammy of Broken Arrow, Skip Cobb of Wagoner and Cathy Turpin and her husband Eddie of Carney, OK. Two sisters; Flora Hinkley and her husband Howard of Springfield, Missouri and Mattie Hathcoat and her husband Louis of Tucson, Arizona. Thirteen grandchildren and one great grandson, nieces, nephews other family members and friends. Funeral services for Betty will be held at the St. Anne's Catholic Church in Broken Arrow, 10:00 A..M., Monday, February 9, 2009. Burial will follow in Wagoner at Elmwood Cemetery, under the direction of Shipman Funeral Home & Crematory.
