Funeral of William Krecklow Sunday
Well Known Resident of County Who Died at Midoux, Mon. Laid to Rest Sunday

The funeral services of William Krecklow former well known resident of Cass county was held Sunday afternoon at the Methodist church at Louisville and conducted by Rev. Elliott, pastor of the church there. The attendance was quite large from the old friends and neighbors, a large number from Plattsmouth and vicinity being in attendance at the services. The pastor gave a very appropriate sermon that brot to the relatives and friends a sense of comfort in their hour of sorrow and at the close of the service the body was consigned to its rest in the Louisville cemetery.

The deceased was sixty-one years of age and a native of Germany, coming to America when a young man and was for a number of years located in Plattsmouth where he followed his trade as blacksmith and while a resident of this city, was united in marriage to Miss Mary Guthmann, who passed away in 1908. Mrs. Krecklow was a sister of Mrs. Lester Burrows of this city also Mrs. Hans H. Goos of Plainview, Mrs. Ida Postalwaite of Kansas CIty, Will Guthmann of Plainview and Ed Guthmann of Grand Island, brothers.

The family later removed to Cheyenne, Wyo., where they resided for a number of years later returning to Plattsmouth and thence to Manley where Mr. Krecklow engaged in farming, and from there removed to Louisville to follow his trade as blacksmith, and it was here that the wife and mother was called to her reward.

For the past number of years Mr. Krecklow was located at Louisville where two of his children, Mrs. Charles Rathburn (sic) and Mrs. Harold Koop still reside while the son, Wm.K. Krecklow makes his home in this city.

The brothers and sister of Mr. Krecklow are Mrs. John L. Burns of Manley, Julius Krecklow of Greenwood, Fred and August of Manley and Andrew of Falls City.

A year ago last June Mr. Krecklow removed to a farm near Wibaux, Montana, where he has since resided. His death was caused by potamine poisoing and the illness was not known until he was found in bed by his friend, Mr. Isaac Tennat (sic) and at that time the death of Mr. Krecklow had occurred.
