Lulu R. Clark 1897-1988
Lulu R. Clark, formerly of Lewes, died of heart failure Monday, Nov. 21, 1988, in Harbor Health Care Center, Lewes. She was 91.
Mrs. Clark was a homemaker. She was a wallpaper hanger in the Milton area for many years, retiring In 1976. She was a member of Congregational Church, Milton.
Her husband, John W. Clark Jr., died in 1964. She is survived by three sons, Wilford T. Clark of Santa Anna, Calif., Arlie B. Clark of Georgetown. and John W. Clark III of Lewes; four daughters, Ethel G. Davis, Corlezia Wright, Millie P. Morris. and Joan E. Jackson, all of Millsboro; two sisters, Henrietta Johnson, and Grace Sammons, both of Cheswold; 13 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be 2 p.m. Friday at Short Funeral Home, 416 Federal Street, Milton. Friends may call Thursday after 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Congregational Cemetery, Milton. Instead of flowers, the family suggests contributions to Delaware Heart Association, Railroad Avenue, Georgetown, Del. 19947.
