(3) Sarah Francis KIRKLAND MEREDITH on 26 Nov 1868 Caldwell Parish LA. They had four children: Robert Matthew, Irby Benjamin, Obediah Doss & Maudie Caladonia MAY.
He was a well respected member of the community, a farmer, owned a grist mill and "owned some fine horses".
