Obituary for Margaret Elizabeth Buddenhagen Ahalt from the Frederick News of Saturday, September 1, 1990:

"Mrs. Margaret Ahalt. Mrs. Margaret Elizabeth Ahalt, 92, of 732 Jefferson Pike, Knoxville, died Friday, August 31, at the Jefferson Memorial Hospital, Ranson, West Virginia. Born June 2, 1898, in Charles Town, West Virginia, Mrs. Ahalt was a daughter of the late Joseph and Irene Fidinger Buddenhagen. She was the wife of the late Mherl E. Ahalt, who died in 1965, and was a lifelong member of the Bethany Lutheran Church, Brunswick. Surviving are one son, Harmon J. Ahalt of Knoxville; one brother, Ralph Buddenhagen of Charles Town; and a number of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Mrs. Ahalt was preceded in death by one son, Robert E. Ahalt, two sisters, Mabel Johnston and Dorothy Covert, and two brothers, Joseph Buddenhagen and Robert Buddenhagen. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, September 4, at the John T. Williams Funeral Home, Brunswick. Officiating will be the Rev. Jeffrey Truscott. Interment will be in the Lutheran Cemetery, Middletown. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, September 3, from 7-9 p.m."
