Elsie Rose Cummings,80,of Salem formerly of Milan died Monday
July 3 2006 at Washington County Memorial Hospital in Salem.
She was born May 30 1926 the daughter of Oscar Frank and Nelle(Linville)Kuhn both deceased. She married Lewis Roy Cum-
mings in September of 1945 and he preceded her in death in June of 1971.
Survivors including three sons Tom Cummings of Milan, Ralph
(Pete)Cummings of Batesvilles, Mike Cummings of Vevay; two
daughters Louella Richardson of Osgood, Linda Hall of Columbus; one half sister Nora Dickson of Brazil; long time friend Ruth Hampton of Salem and five grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one son Daniel(Foxy)Cummings in 2004.
Mrs. Cummings was a home-maker and had also attended Tyson United Methodist Church in Versailles.
Visitation will be held today Thursday July 6,6-8pm at Laws-Carr-Moore Funeral Home in Milan'
Funeral services will be held Friday July 7, 1pm at the funeral home in Milan with Rev. Tom Holt officiating.
Burial will be in the Mud Pike Cemetery near Osgood. Memorials may go to the Ripley County Humane Society.
