Retired 1974 from Indiana State Highway Commission.

Former employee Shelby County Highway Department.

WWI veteran. Member, past state vice president of the WWI Veterans Barracks No. 190, Osgood.

Life member of Morristown American Legion No. 102. Member of the F&AM Lodge No. 28 and Marion Township Farm Bureau.

Hauk-Spencer Mortuary, Morristown. Graveside services, Rev. James Horner officiating.

Burial: Forest Hill Cemetery.
