Obituary - Mrs. Alice May Behan, widow of Lawrence Behan, well-known automobile dealer, of Patchogue, died on Thursday of last week at Dr. King 's Hospital, in Bay Shore, after a long illness. Mrs. Behan was born In East Patchogue 65 years ago and had lived in the Patchogue area all her life until moving to Sayville Boulevard about seven years ago. After the death of Mr. Behan in 1941, she and her daughter, Mrs. Richard N. Tucker, of Sayville, operated the business until 1949. Besides her daughter Mrs. Behan leaves four brothers, Alfred Gerard, of East Patchogue, William, John, and Walter Gerard, all of Patchogue, and two sisters, Mrs. Emma Searles and Mrs. Caroline Rockwell, both also of Patchogue. Funeral services- were held on Saturday afternoon in Raynor's Funeral Chapel, Sayville, with the Rev. Joseph H. Bond, rector of St. Ann's Episcopal Church, officiating. Interment was in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Patchogue.
