Clarissa (or Clara) was a German woman, the wife of Joseph (AKA Stephen) Preston of Bradford County, Pennsylvania. Her husband died in 1827 and she lived for many years after. Both are buried at Wyalusing ("His wife survived him many years, but is now deceased, and both are buried at Wyalusing." Craft, 1878).
