Sara Louise Kissiah Moody, 83, of Charlotte, died January 1, 2003 at her home. There will be a graveside service 1:00 PM Saturday, January 4, 2003 at Sharon Memorial Park with the Reverend Shirley L. Canty officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:30 to 12:30 PM on Saturday, January 4, at McEwen Funeral Service, Charlotte Chapel. Sara was born December 20, 1919 in Newell, NC, daughter of the late Elam S. Kissiah and Zula Hagler Kissiah. Sara graduated in 1936 from Oakhurst High School and had worked for Hudson Hosiery for 27 years as an inspector in the production department. She was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church. Sara is survived by her husband, Hubert Moody of Charlotte, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Sara was preceded in death by her sister, Kathleen Kissiah. Memorials may be made to Presbyterian Home Care Hospice, PO Box 33549 Charlotte, NC 28233. Arrangements by McEwen Funeral and Cremation Service, Charlotte Chapel.
