Virginia land records support that Jarvis Jackson and wife ELEANOR (Lee) Jackson departed Goochland and settled in the northern area of Bedford Co. prior to the approx. year Jemima was born.
Jemima was indeed accounted for (as a Rev. Soldier's widow) in Jackson Co., Ga. for the 1832 "Gold" land lottery in Ga.. There was an elderly female in the Shadrach Hogan Jr. household in the 1840 Jackson Co. census.
