George L. Crissman, 65, of Templeton RD1 (Boggs Township) died Monday, Jan. 6, 1997 at Armstrong County Memorial Hospital, East Franklin Township. He was born May 5, 1931 in Templeton to Bassil G. and Ella P. (Voelkel) Crissman. He was a foreman for Adams Steel Erection for 35 years. He was a Protestant. He was a veteran of the Korean War. He was a member of Masonic Lodge 805 of Kittanning and the New Castle Consistory. Survivors include twin sons, Jerry Crissman of Tucson, AZ and Jeff Crissman of Chicago, IL; three grandchildren; his mother, Ella P. Crissman of Templeton; and one brother, Dorsey P. Crissman of Templeton. He was preceded in death by his father, Bassil G. Crissamn; and his wife, Jean (Lasher) Crissman, who died Feb. 20, 1995. CRISSMAN - Friends of George L. Crissman, 65, of Templeton RD1 (Boggs Township), who died Monday, Jan. 6, 1997, will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at the Bauer Funeral Home 515 N. McKean Street, Kittanning, where funeral services will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Ron Follett, officiating. Burial will be in Lawn Haven Burial Estates, East Franklin Township.
