Bassil G.Crissman, 81, of Templeton died Saturday, Dec. 5, 1987 at his home. He was born Jan. 6, 1906 in Rimer to Frank and Barbara (Croyle) Crissman. He lived all his life in the Mosgrove, Templeton areas, had attended the Templeton Methodist Church and was a member of the Kittanning Eagles. He was employed by the Armstrong County School District and retired in 1970 as custodian at the Dayton schools. Surviving are his wife, E. Pearl (Voelkel) Crissman; two sons, Dorsey P. and George L. both of Templeton RD1; one brother, Ottie Crissman of Mosgrove; four grandchildren; and five great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by six brothers, Allie, Fred, Nathan, Harold, Wilford and James and one sister, Faye Lamison. CRISSMAN - Friends of Bassil C. Crissman, 81, of Templeton who died Saturday, Dec. 5, 1987, will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Monday at the Bauer Funeral Home in Kittanning, where funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday with the Rev. William Filer officiating. Burial will follow in Lawn Haven Burial Estates.
