A native of Cleveland County, she was born on May 30, 1927, the daughter of the late Boyce and Iva Champion Mauney. She was a retired secretary and a member of Cliffside Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Bill Jolley; two daughters, Juanda Sanchez of Wilmington and Margo Matheny and husband, Michael, of Wilkesboro; two sisters, Jeanette Perry of Anderson, S.C. and Fran Davis of Shelby; two grandsons, Skip Matheny and wife, Timshel, and Logan Matheny; and two great-grandchildren, Jude Matheny and Ambrose Matheny.
Memorial Service: Thursday, May 7, 7 p.m., Cliffside Baptist Church
Visitation: The family will receive friends following the service.
