Mrs. Mary Waddell
Mrs. Mary Nelson Waddell, 92, of 720 Wilmer Ave., died Monday at Anniston Nursing Home after a brief illness.
Funeral services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Wednesday at 22nd Street Baptist Church with the Rev. G. D. Waits and the Rev. Hal T. Goodwin officiating. Burial will be in Edgemont Cemetery with Gray Brown-Service Mortuary in charge.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Eula Schukey of Knoxville, Tenn., one brother, N. B. Nelson of New Smyrna Beach, Fla.; seven grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
The great grandsons will be the active pallbearers.
Mrs. Waddell was a native of Talladega County but had been a resident of Calhoun County most of her life. She was a member of the 22nd Street Baptist Church.
The body will remain at the funeral home until one hour prior to services.
