Mrs. Nelson Passes At Home Here Today
Mrs. Mary Hamilton Nelson, 86, 720 Wilmaer Avenue, died today at 10:55 a.m. at her home. Place, date and hours of the funeral service will be announced later. Burial will be at Edgemont Cemetery. The Revs. L. N. Claxton and Paul F. Edwards will officiate. Usley is in charge of arrangements.
The deceased, who has lived here since 1891 and was a member of the First Baptist Church, is survived by three sons, Lee of Orlando, Fla., Tom of Gadsden, and W. J. of Anniston; two daughters, Mrs. Mary Wordell of Knoxville, Tenn., and Mrs. Sally Peek of Anniston; nine great grandchildren, and nine great-great-grandchildren.
Husband was John Thomas Nelson.
