Mrs. Geraldine "Jerry" Brooks Andrews, 65, entered into rest at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Cindy and Josh Key in Beech Island, S.C. on Wednesday, March 20,2002.

Funeral services will be Saturday at 11 a.m., at the Hatcher Funeral Home Chapel. Elder Dwayne Hooven and Elder Samuel Bryant officiating and the Rev. William Norman Andrews (grandson) will give the closing prayer at the graveside in Hillcrest Memorial Park.

Pallbearers will be grandsons.

Mrs. Andrews, born in Avera, and was a longtime resident of Augusta. She was a life long member of the Primitive Baptist faith and was a member of Augusta Old Line Primitive Baptist Church in Martinez. Mrs. Andrews was a 1954 graduate of Wrens High School and a graduate of Draughton Business College and was a secretary for many years at the Medical College of Georgia.

She is survived by her loving husband, Bernice Norman Andrews, Sr. Mrs. Andrews was preceded in death by her parents, Adam J. and Sina Brooks of Avera. In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, Bernie Andrews of Augusta and Bill Andrews and wife Jackie of Stanton, Ind.; two daughters, Cindy Andrews Key and husband Josh of Beech Island and Cathy Andrews Bonham and husband, Danny of Belvedere; grandsons, Billy Andrews, Tony Reynolds, Jason Reynolds, Matthew Andrews, Brooks Andrews, Joseph Bonham, Tristen Andrews, Steven Bowman and Jonathan Lowe; granddaughters, Hannah Bonham, Shelley Bowman, Alison Lowe, Kaitlyn Andrews and Christy Andrews; great-grandchildren, Carsyn Lowe, Keeley Bowman, Austin Lee Reynolds, Cameron Lowe and Bentley Bowman. Also survived by her brother, Joe Brooks of Atlanta and sisters, Rella Stokes of Callahan, Fla., Lois Webster of Atlanta, Edith Floyd of Brunswick, Helen Wren and Faye Black of Evans, Ga.
