Edward Henry Biesemeyer, was born in 1898, in Morrison, Missouri, the third of six children of Fredrick and Fredericke ARENSMEIER Biesemeyer. He attended school in Grand Pass. Edward married Ethel Louise BRISTOW in 1926 in Malta Bend, Saline County, Missouri. He was a cabinet maker.


Edward died by drowning because of a boating accident in the Lake of the Ozarks, in Camden, Missouri in 1936. His death certificate states, "He went into river with clothes on to rescue a bather and drowned himself". He was thirty-eight. Edward was survived by his wife, "Louise" and five children: Edward, Robert, Eugene, Doris & Dorothy.
