Mr. Fred D. Forsythe, age 80, widower of Stella Ireland Forsythe, died Monday May 12, at his home on Hick's Pike in Harrison County, KY following a five-week illness.
A member of the Mt. Gilead Methodist Church, Mr. Forsythe was a native of Harrison County and a farmer. He was the son of William Perry (DOD: 07/27/1912) and Lucinda Baldwin Forsythe (DOD: 07/09/1924).
Mr. Forsythe was survived by one son, Mr. Garrett Forsythe, Cynthiana, KY, and two granddaughters, Mrs. Robert Carpenter, Dover, N. H. and Miss Martha Forsythe, Harrison County, KY.
Services were held Thursday, May 15, 1958 at Smith-Rees Chapel. Pallbearers were Clyde Haley, Carl Morrison, Jr., Irvin Moore, John Wes Ireland, Emmett Ireland, and Donald Hiten.
