•Note: Rose Parsons Collins: "I have tried for years to find a Family Bible, but no one seemed to know if there was one, but Dad always said his grandmother, Elizabeth, was a religious woman. He was especially fond of his grandmother. There is some question about Robert Jesse and Elizabeth still being married when he died. From what I have heard he left Elizabeth and lived with a widow down the street from the rest of the family. I was able to find one picture of him in about 1999 when his last grandson died. I had searched for a picture for years. I have one picture of Elizabeth, Mary and Margaret. I have a picture of Ben, but I have never had a picture of George or Jesse. I remember Elizabeth fairly well, She was not a very tall person and Dad said his grandfather was not tall either. Mary and Ben both were tall."
