Family Link: Born the son of Nathaniel Busby (1782 – 1852) and Amelia Rhoden Busby (1800 – 1830) and grandson of Revolutionary War Veteran Needham Busby (1752 – 1840). She married in 1840 to William O. Dailey (1820 – 1850) and their children were Nathan Dailey (1838 – ), Isaiah Dailey (1840 – ), John Dailey (1842 – ), Eliza Jemima Dailey (1848 – 1926) and Joseph Dailey (1851 – ). After William Dailey's death in S.C. she married after the move to Texas to David H. E. Bouknight (1835 – 1913) and their children were Catherine A. Bouknight (1858 – 1877), Lucenda Bouknight (1859 – 1870), James M. Bouknight (1861 – 1947), Belzetta Bouknight (1861 – ), and Mary Bouknight (1864 – ).
