Mrs. Amalea Bedel, 83, wife of Henry Bedel, died Saturday at the Windsor Eventide Nursing home, where she had been a patient since July of last year [1970].

Born in Russia, she was married there to Henry Blehm in 1905, and came to the USA in 1912, settling in Windsor.

Henry Blehm died in 1934. In 1935 she married Henry Bedel in Windsor.

She was a charter member of Faith United Church of Christ in Windsor.

Surviving, in addition to her husband, Henry Bedel, are 2 sons and 3 daughters. She was a step-mother to 3 children. Also surviving is a brother Alex Oblander of Greeley, CO.
