Mildred A. Reichert, 96

Mildred A. Reichert was born to Henry and Amalia (Oblander) Blehm in Scharvagofka, Russia. At the age of six weeks she immigrated to the Windsor area with her family where she grew up. On January 5, 1933 she married Ben Reichert. She and her husband farmed west of Greeley until they moved to Evans, CO in 1956.
Mrs. Reichert worked as a cook at the North Colorado Medical Center. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, playing cards and other games, and cooking for her family and friends. She was a devoted mother and grandmother. Mrs. Reichert was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and had a Lifetime Membership to the Conditioning Spa in Greeley, and regularly went there into to her 90's.

Mrs. Reichert died Monday November 3, 2008 at the Life Care Center of Greeley.
Survivors: A daughter, Edna Swanson and husband Richard of Highlands Ranch, CO; two sons, Melvin Reichert and Donald Reichert and wife Geraldine all of Greeley. Six grandsons, Gary Swanson of Windsor, Ken Swanson of Covina, CA, Edwin Swanson of Denver, CO, Mark Reichert, Deck Reichert and Lee Reichert all of Greeley, and five great-grandchildren. She is also survived by a brother, Ted Blehm of Missouri; and many nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by: Her husband, Ben Reichert on April 28, 1994; parents; a grandson, Mike Reichert; two sisters, Betty Heinze and Nora Helzer; and two brothers, Rheinholt and Henry Blehm.
