Graveside rites for Betty Jo Adams, 77, will be at 2 p.m. Friday, July 28, 2000, at Hillcrest Memorial Park conducted by the Rev. Russell Bracey, Westcliff United Methodist Church in Fort Worth, Texas.
Mrs. Adams died Wednesday, July 26, 2000, in Fort Worth after an extended illness. Daughter of the late Ben C. and Ruby Purvine Holt, she was born May 21, 1923, in Ardmore, and was a graduate of Ardmore High School.
She and Harold E. Adams were married Feb. 17, 1943, in Urbana, Ill. In Ardmore they had been members of First United Methodist Church and the "2 Left Feet Dance Club." They moved to Fort Worth from Ardmore in 1991 and were associated there with Westcliff United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Harold E. Adams, of the home in Fort Worth; a son and daughter-in-law, Bob and Cindy Adams, Arlington, Texas; a sister, Bena Holt, Ardmore; and two grandchildren, Chip and Sara Adams.
Harvey-Douglas Funeral Home will direct services.
