Mrs. Morilla Leniton, aged 51 years, died at St. Joseph's hospital at Bloomington at 3 o'clock Monday morning following an illness of one year with complication of diseases.
Mrs. Leniton was born near Waynesville, in DeWitt County. She was married to John Leniton at Mexico, Missouri, 32 years ago, moving to Bloomington 10 years ago to reside. Mr. and Mrs. Leniton were the parents of three children, Lennie, Joseph, and Denver, who survive. Mr. Leniton died eight years ago.
Beside the children she leaves the following brothers and sisters: Charles Winkle of Bloomington; John Winkle of Indiana; George Winkle of Amboy; Henry Winkle of Waynesville; Mrs. Frances Halsey of Waynesville; Mrs. Martha Daubmann of Heyworth; Mrs. Samantha Halsey of Amboy; Mrs. Jennie Holbrook of Oklahome; and Mrs. Maur Flynn of Webster City, Iowa.

Gravesite Details
Marilla Leniton is buried in an unmarked grave in the Halsey-Hougham Cemetery in DeWitt County, Illinois. The one-acre cemetery is what remains of the original Halsey farm purchased in March 1851 by Eli Halsey.
