Salvatore A. DiMase, 74, of Chula Vista died May 10. He was born in Yonkers, N.Y., and was a teacher with the Sweetwater Union High School District. He was retired from the Navy.
Survivors include his former wife, Frances DiMase of Chula Vista; daughters, Maria of Chula Vista, Francia of Glendale and Cecelia of Baker, La.; sons, Anthony of Los Angeles, Gregory of San Diego, Michael of Carlsbad and Paul of Chula Vista; and eight grandchildren.
Rosary: 7 p.m. tomorrow, St. Pius X Catholic Church, 1120 Cuyamaca Ave., Chula Vista.
Mass: 11 a.m. Saturday at the church.
Inurnment: noon Saturday, Glen Abbey Memorial Park, 3838 Bonita Road, Bonita.
