Edward E. Zastrow, 66, a retired elevator operator, was found dead in the front seat of his automobile parked in the closed garage at his home, 3021 SW Thistle St., shortly after 3:30 o'clock yesterday afternoon.
Zastrow's wife, Christine, told Patrolmen Ira Ford and J. M. Cordas that her husband had been ill and despondent. She found him when she returned home. He last was seen by a neighbor about 2:45 o'clock yesterday afternoon.
