She married Donald Lee Gavin on April 25, 1952 and they had two children, Jennie Marie and Robert (Bobby) Lee Gavin. They later divorced and Don married and divorced two other women, then Don re-married Ruth Marie Williams on Nov.1, 1978. After his death on Dec. 15,1978, she married Willie R. Crabtree on Nov. 22,1980, who was a stepfather to her children by Don. She died in Grove City, Ohio on July 28, 2007. She had worked at bartending at Gavin's Grill bar and later managed and owned the business after her husband Don Gavin's death.
