Mrs. Effie Agard
Services for Mes. Effie M. Agard, 86, will be at 11 am Monday in the Wall-Diffenderfer chapel with burial in Mount Hope cemetery. She died Thursday in a local hospital. Her home was formerly at 2155 Plass before she moved to a nursing home.
She was born May 30, 1872, at Ludlow, Ill., and had lived in Topeka since 1923. Her husband, Fred M. Agard, died in December, 1923. She was a member of the Lowman Memorial Methodist church.
Mrs. Agard is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Helen Reese of 3101 Humboldt; two sons, Rollin F. Agard of Kansas City, Mo., and Raymond L. Agard of Camden, S.C.; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; a brother, C.E. Freeman of Concordia and a sister, Mrs. H.A. Butler of Stockton.
