Fred M. Agard
Fred M. Agard, 71, died Sunday night at his home, 2409 West Twelfth. He was born October 22, 1874, and had made his home in Topeka Seventy-five years. He was a carpenter in the State House maintenance department for fourteen years and since the outbreak of World War II had been employed at the AAF supply depot.
He was a member of the Lowman Memorial Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Effie M. Agard; two daughters, Mrs. Henry P. Colberg and Mrs. Harry C. Talbott, both of Topeka; two sons, Raymond L. Agard, Custerville, Iowa, and Rollin F. Agard, Kansas City, Mo.; and five grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Wall-Diffenderfer Mortuary with interment in Mount Hope Cemetery.
