Mary Ellen Dilts dead.
Mrs. Mary Ellen Dilts, 78, formerly of Emporia, died at her home in Shell City, Mo., Saturday evening.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock in Shell City. Burial will be in the Shell City cemetery.
Mrs. Dilts was born February 25, 1870, in Perry County, Ind., the daughter of the late John D. and Sarah (Sprinkle) Lynch. She married William Dilts in Seymour, Mo. She left Emporia five years ago to make her home in Shell City.
She is survived by her husband of the home, six sons, John and Everett of Shell City, Mo., Theodore 619 1/2 West Second, Emporia; Harold #02 Rural Emporia; Lloyd of Ottawa, and Donald of Burlington; one daughter, Mrs. Gertrude Evans, Los Angeles, Calif.; two brothers, Tom Lynch, 19 South Commercial, Emporia; and David Lynch of Los Angeles, Calif.; one sister, Mrs. Gertrude Jones, British Columbia; nine granddaughters, six grandsons and two great grandchildren.
Those from Emporia who will attend the funeral services are Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Dilts and Harold Dilts.
