This cemetery is actually two separate cemeteries. Maxville Cemetery is to the far east and Woodlawn Cemetery is to the far west. Over the years the cemeteries have merged and became so intertwined that you can barely tell one from the other. The signs left are of Woodlawn Cemetery, the cemetery is on The Maxville Church grounds with the Old Maxville Road running through it which is located to the north of HWY 32 just before you pass Maxville, Randolph County, Indiana. Many of the locals still refer to this cemetery as either of its names. Most generally the current obituaries refer to this cemetery as Woodlawn Cemetery.
